The acquisition of an apartment is made in the following manner :

a) The acquirer signs a subscription form indicating the chosen apartment, for the price quoted in the pricelist that is in force, and at the same time he pays to the notary an instalment representing 10 % of the sale price.

b) The signature of a notarially authenticated promise to sell will follow within a few days. In order to simplity the formalities, a subscriber who does net wish to attend at the notary's office may grant a power of attorney to that effect when he signs the subscription form.

c) The payment of the balance of the price (90 %) is effected in the following manner:

30 % on the completion of the foundatiors
30 % on the completion of the main structure
20 % on the completion of the sanitary installations
10 % on the stipulation of the final contract of sale.

These payments shall be made to the bank account for the building, which is indicated at the foot of the subscription form; these instalments shall bear no interest.

d) The final contract of sale will be stipulated on the date fixed on the subscription form. In the event of any delay in the building works, however, the stipulation of the contract will be postponed until the date on which the works are completed.

According to the legislation now in force, it is also possible for foreigners residing outside Switzerland to acquire an apartment in the "DOMAINE DE ROCHEGRISE" at Villars.

For a foreigner residing outside Switzerland who wishes to acquire an apartment, the only further formality consists in signing a "Request to the Real Estate Commission, section II", on the form handed te him by the selling agent.
